

A nice, short, (mostly) easy drive (Day 2)
I woke up this morning around 7AM, and Isagani and I contemplated the best way to bring down the weight of the truck and trailer. We decided to go for the low hanging fruit, which was the steel doors from the back of the truck (~300 lbs), the spare truck tire (~100 lbs), and the set of snow tires for the Kia (~150 lbs). Tuesday = Wednesday
Yesterday was crazy. Dan, Rychel, and Whitney spent most of the day helping us in whatever ways they could. We got the fridge into the house, the shower broken down and loaded into the truck, the deck broken down and loaded into the truck, did a deep cleaning, touched up stain and paint, moved some of the storage boxes/seating into the house, and even had time to get some decorating done! What Time are you Leaving?
For the much of the Labor Day weekend, we've had friends over helping us try to make our leaving date of Tuesday, 9/6. Many of the neighbors have noticed the uptick in activity and have come over to see what's going on and help out as well. Most of the neighbors know our story and our planned departure date.
